On the back of your card, put the English translation(s), the part of speech (noun), conjugation (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th)  

Using this flashcard may sound like this...

HOW DO YOU KNOW? A new student might respond..." I know it is a noun because I see four words and I know that when I learn a new verb, I learn four words."    Or a more experienced student might respond...  "I recognize the verb parts"

Henle Hint:

The first verbs you learn in Henle Latin First Year are actually just singular verbs and their definitions. They used to build early sentences without any explanation of verbs or how they work. You can approach them as just rote memory -one Latin word on one side/English Translation on the other with no further questions. Or you could just post a list of them for quick reference (like in the Latin Study Board method - found in my Shop.)
